: Colorado Ends Lady Wildcats’ Season
The Villanova Women’s team had a 7 point lead at halftime and a 2-point lead w/ 1:32 to go, but couldn’t hold on in the Sweet 16 of the Women’s NIT as they lost to Colorado 64-58.
: WNIT Lady Wildcats vs. Colorado
The Villanova Women’s Basketball team will be taking on the University of Colorado in the Sweet 16 of the WNIT tonight. Tip-off is set for 9p ET in Boulder.
The winner of the game will face TCU in the Regional Finals.
: Women Beat Wisconsin in WNIT
The Lady Wildcats beat the Badgerettes of Wisconsin 60-54 to advance to the 3rd round of the WNIT. Stacie Whitman led the way with 17.
‘Nova will face either Colorado or Gonzaga on thursday.
Lady Wildcats Win in 1st Round of WNIT
Villanova beat American 53-52 in the opening round of the Women’s NIT tournament. Laura Kurz, followed up a missed shot w/ 1 second to win the game.
The Lady Wildcats are off to Wisconsin for the next round.

- The Lady Wildcats have been invited to the WNIT. They will host American on wednesday (19Mar). This is the Women’s 8th trip to the post-season in the past 9 seasons.

Senior Stacie Witman has been named to the All-American first team by CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine. Sophomore guard Maria Getty earned second team distinction.

On Saturday, February 16th, the Lady Wildcats will be taking on the Cincinnatti Bearcats at 2p. Wear pink to The Pavillion to show support in the fight against Breast Cancer.
:03Jan: #1 UConn Women @ Villanova
As the Villanova men head to Chicago for their Big East opener against DePaul, the Wildcat Women (10-3) will host the University of Connecticut at the Pavilion in the Big East opener for both schools. UConn is sporting a 11-0 record and is currently ranked #1 in both Women’s Basketball Polls.
Game time is 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 for adults and, as always, only $5 for kids age 12 and under!
