		<description><![CDATA[Villanova athletics has fallen in love with the highlight reel, especially as a means of promoting teams and selling tickets. They released this slickly-produced highlight/hype reel with clips from the 2011 football season, and managed to find almost a minute worth of clips from the season that will not make you cry. Football is hoping for a big bounce-back after 2011&#8242;s terrible showing. Improves quarterback play will be necessary and they may need a young center to step up and play in place of Dan Shirey who could easily miss the season. That said, the offense looked good in spring practice and will only get better once the new freshmen arrive to provide the team with needed depth.]]></description>

The Clippers guards and Blake Griffin have made the alley-oop an artform this season, earning the nickname, &#8220;Lob City.&#8221; Blake Griffin is one of the best dunkers in the professional ranks, but on Sunday night, he found himself on the wrong end of this one. It was a heads-up play by the Villanova grad, who grabbed a rebound and quickly slammed it home over Griffin&#8217;s head, and it is an easy pick for the highlight reels.]]></description>

It has been a while since I was dating a crew girl in college (lightweight boat, thankyouverymuch), but these women put a lot of time and energy into their sport without the benefit of a beautiful home-base on boathouse row. They will participate in the Kerr Cup this weekend in Philadelphia, have a Big East Double Dual Regatta next weekend, and will participate in the Dad Vail Regatta and Big East championships next month.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Randy Foye has been on a tear the last few weeks for the L.A. Clippers. It has been an impressive run, with the Nova grad averaging 16.2 points over his last 10 games. He has been a very effective scorer alongside Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, helping LA&#8217;s other team to stay in the mix in the west. On Monday night, he helped lead his team to a 92-77 victory over the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. In the game, Foye had 13 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals while shooting 50% from the floor and 75% from beyond the arc. The highlight of the game, however, was a third-quarter steal that lead to a fast-break. Foye takes the ball across the court and posterized the NBA&#8217;s leading shot-blocker, Serge Ibaka.]]></description>
