- Junior Kenny Hasbrouck is the most experienced starter. He is McCaffery’s first recruit and scored 30 points in Siena’s win over Vanderbilt Friday.
- Sophomore forward Alex Franklin is the team’s go-to man inside, plays well above his 6-5 size and is an excellent finisher around the basket…He missed five games with a lingering back injury.
- The lone starter not mentioned is junior Josh Duell who has the only NCAA Tournament experience on the team when he helped Vermont knock off Syracuse in the 2004 NCAA Tournament.
- Siena is the second smallest school in this year’s NCAA Tournament field with an enrolment of just 2,900.
