The Wildcats clawed back from an early deficit to claim a brief 38-37 lead before losing to the Panthers 57 to 69 at the Petersen Events Center. Scottie Reynolds dropped in 26 and Antonio Peña added 10, as Villanova dropped its third consecutive BIG EAST conference game. ‘Nova’s record has dipped to 13-6 (3-5).

A rocking Pavillion, a group of Freshman, and clutch free throws with 10seconds remaing helped the Wildcats gain their first conference victory of the season; a win over #13 Pittsburgh.

Maclolm Grant led Villanova with 22 and Antonio Peña added 12 as ‘Nova upped their record to 11-2 (1-1) when Dante Cunningham hit 2 free throws in the waning seconds of the game.
