Drummond Headed to Marist

Last week, we noted that Junior Casiem Drummond had been granted releases to 3 schools. We’ve been informed that Caz will be headed to Marist for the second semester. He will be able to play for the Red Foxes following the Fall 2009 Semester (around next Christmas).  Good Luck Casiem.

Junior big-man Casiem Drummond will be transferring from Villanova to a school where he will be able to find more playing time. Caz has been fighting ankle and foot injuries and has only played in two games this year.

Caz Suspended for Monmouth Game

Casiem Drummond was suspended for one game for “disciplinary reasons” and will miss Villanova’s against Monmouth. Jay Wright described the infraction as “a minor disciplinary issue” and said Drummond will practice on Wednesday.

Drummond MRI Negative

The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Cassiem Drummond had an MRI on his foot yesterday and the scans came back showing nothing. He should be ready for tomorrow’s game with Niagara.
