A Look at BIG EAST Tournament Seeding

Villanova has assured themselves that they will, at worst be a 4-seed in next week’s BIG EAST Tournament at Madison Square Garden. This gives Villanova the “double-bye” directly to the Quarterfinals on Thursday. At best, Nova will be a 2 seed if they beat West Virginia on Saturday.

Scottie Reynolds named to PreSeason All Big East 1st Team

Villanova Senior Scottie Reynolds was named to the first team of the All Big East Pre-Season squad. Deonta Vaughn (Cincy), Greg Monroe (Georgetown), Lazar Hayward (Marquette), Da’Sean Butler (WVU), and Luke Harangody (Notre Dame) were also named. Harangody was tabbed with PreSeason Player of the Year honors.
