Antonio Peña Signs in Spain

Recent Villanova alumn, Antonio Peña has signed with UB La Palma in Spain’s Liga Española de Baloncesto, the country’s second league.

The team is based in Santa Cruz de La Palma on the Canary Islands and is in the Adecco Oro category (the league’s highest category).

    Now I can see why announcers had a hard time pronouncing his name!  I hear Pee-na too many times by morons last year.

     You should probably ask Chuck Kornegay about that. He played in Spain for years and wasn’t as good as Pena at free throws.
