The road to the NBA still is still in sight for Corey Fisher. After working out for the Indiana Pacers last week, the recent Villanova Graduate is currently in Denver working out for the Nuggets.

He is also scheduled to work out in front of the Portland Trailblazers next Monday according to Percy Allen of the Seattle Times.

According to Adam Zagoria, he will visit the Nets on Tuesday as well.

I think he’ll be a better pro than many think.  I don’t think his role last year was ideal for his personality and skill set.  He’ll be excellent as a spark off the bench.  He certainly was that for Nova in his soph year when he was BE 6th man of the year.   As he matures he might grow into a bigger role.

love me some fish but I still don’t see how he gets his shot while scottie’s rotting away in a gym in new england…

Undrafted free agent at best.  I hope he breaks into the NBA, but in all likelihood he’ll be playing overseas making a lot more money than any of us.

I’ve wondered whether  Frank Tchuisi had any involvement in the Ochefu recruitment.    Daniel’s mom is from Cameroon so a lil familiarity might have helped Coach Wright on the selling pitch.

In that same line of reasoning, maybe Dallas Ouano can help us recruit one of the great sharpshooters who would have been in the the Class of 2011 but may not be returning to the U.S. from Philipines until 2012 and might have to sit out a year when he does depending on how NCAA views his situation as a possible transfer.
Bobby Ray Parks Jr. is a 6’4 SG who grew up in the Philipines but played 3 years of High School in Memphis before leaving after his Junior year to return with his father last year and enrolling early at National University.  (His father Bobby Parks was Memphis State great from 1981-84 before becoming a superstar of Philipine Professional Basketball)
Parks commited to former Coach Hewitt at Ga Tech but recently decommited and now his future is confusing due to minimal communication with him and his dad.   They both claim they hope for him to play professionally in USA after playing some high level college ball and Louisville, Marquette, Virginia & Memphis are mentioned as possible destinations at some point.  A Villanova scholarship is probably not available until 2013 but this kid is a prime time sharpshooter from the arc from what I’ve read if there was any way to get 2 years of eligibility out of him stateside..

           >>> Exactly when Parks Jr. would be available to play in D-I is unclear. If he left the Philippines this winter and enrolled in a U.S. college for the second semester, he could be ready to suit up as early as December 2012. In the eyes of the NCAA, Parks Jr.’s “five-year clock” began when he enrolled in classes at National University in 2010, meaning he’d have to use his four years of college eligibility by 2014-15.
The numbers Parks Jr. posted at the Nike Global Challenge in Hillsboro, Ore., last August suggest that he can contribute at a high-level D-I program. As the lead guard on the All-Asia team, Parks Jr. averaged 22.0 points on 44.4 percent three-point shooting, and got to the free-throw line 8.7 times per game while playing against American teams that included blue-chippers Anthony Davis (who’s bound for Kentucky), Bradley Beal (Florida), and a Brazilian team that included potential first-round pick Lucas Nogueira. “That was when Ray really blew up,” Parks Sr. said. “We’re hoping that, down the road, if he’s lucky enough, he’ll be the first Filipino to have a shot at the NBA.”
Parks Jr. has been invited to train with Smart-Gilas, the Filipino senior national team, and it’s a near-guarantee that he’ll make a huge impact in the UAAP.  <<<

    Speak for yourself, bro.

Reynolds is slow as molasis.  He has no NBA skils.  Can’t shoot,  too slow,  lousy defense and he turns the ball over.
