More to Life: Nova Football Remains Undefeated

aaron-ballYesterday, I was able to witness the Wildcats on the gridiron as they took on Northeastern in the pinnacle event of this year’s Parents’ Weekend. It was nice to see the Villanova Stadium about 80% full. The fans all seemed to enjoy the game, except for a small contingent of Northeastern fans who congregated directly behind my seats.

The game was never in doubt as the Cats scored on its first three possessions to take a commanding 21-0 first-quarter lead and went on to win 56-7. They rushed for 410 yards, the third-highest total in school history. Junior running back Aaron Ball carried seven time for a game-high 109 yards and a touchdown. The Cats next face William & Mary, the first of four top-seven FCS opponents they will see in the next five weeks, culminating in a showdown with #1-ranked Richmond on November 7.
