Game 22: @ Providence
#17 Villanova heads north to take on the Friars at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Wednesday night. The Wildcats (17-4, 5-3) will face a surprising Providence College (14-7, 6-3) squad who started Big East play 6-2 before losing by 33 to UConn in their last game this past Saturday.
PC is led by Weyinmi Efejuku and Marshon Brooks coming off the bench- both score about 13 points. Geoff McDermott is their leading rebounder pulling down 8.6 boards a game.
First-year coach Keno Davis usually starts PG Sharaud Curry with guards Jeff Xavier and Weyinmi Efejuku. Jonathan Kale at Center and Forward Geoff McDermott anchor the post positions.
