August 4, 2008 · Filed Under News

A lot of recent alumni made it back to campus for the 2008 Summer Jam; Alvin Williams, John Celestand, Jason Lawson, Randy Foye, Kyle Lowry, Allan Ray, Jason Fraser, Eric Eberz, John Pinone, Lance Miller, Mike Nardi, Larry Herron, Jonathan Haynes, Curtis Sumpter, Dwayne McClain, Doug West, Chris Charles, Malik Allen. As we mentioned earlier, Curtis Sumpter will be signing with the LA Clippers.

The Alumni game featured a split up of “Legends” and “Pros” (which featured recent Villanovans). Celestand scored 16 to lead all scorers.

Not sure when you actually changed it, but the newest share and enjoy button works sooo much better than the original, 90-option popup. Good job. I’m not a fan of the mouseover resizing but it’s definitely more functional. As for Summer Jam, good to see Kyle and Randy back on campus together. Did they play in the alumni game?

Thanks for the comments

Does Tim Thomas not come back to Villanova often, because even though he is lazy it would be nice to see him come back to Nova.

Aray was one of the coaches for the legends/alumni game and Foye was one of the coaches for the other.
Aray, Foye, and Lowry did not play and were in street clothes.  Nardi, Sumpter, and Fraser did play.

Hopefully Jason Frasier make it through the game without breaking something!

I used to work in the athletic department for 7 years and, besides maybe Malik Allen and Alvin Williams, Tim Thomas was back on campus more than anyone else which was really surprising since he only stayed a year.
