Some Articles on ‘Nova Recruits
Maalik Wayns ‘09
Wayns took away Gaddy’s ability to use his change of speeds to get into the teeth of the defense and find open teammates. Wayns also pressured Gaddy and kept him from getting into a comfort zone with the ball. On offense, Wayns used his quickness to get into the paint for his own lay-ups.

Markus Kennedy ‘10
He has a very soft touch around the hoop, and excellent hands. He scored most of his points right around the hoop. He muscled his was to the hoop then laid the ball in using two hands, it hit nothing but the bottom of the net. Marcus also banked in one basket with a man draped all over him. Marcus also hit a reverse lay up from directly under the hoop.
